Elite Enrolment Terms and Conditions

In enrolling my child/ athlete, I give them permission to participate in the Eclipse Cheerleading Elite programme and agree to the following conditions:

Commitment

• I acknowledge that a high level of commitment is required for the Elite Programme and agree to assist my child in attending practices and events;

• I understand that being a member of the Elite Programme is a yearlong commitment for the duration of the competitive season;

• I will ensure my child is prepared for each class by arriving on time with appropriate clothing and water bottle;

• I will encourage my child to practice, stretch and condition at home;

• I will email or text coaches regarding any injury, illness or absence;

• I will check emails and team facebook page and remain informed regarding my child’s involvement in the Eclipse Cheerleading Elite Programme

Appearance release

I understand that photographs and videos of my child may be used for promotional purposes and give my permission for my child to feature in any such publications.

Fees

• I agree to pay the fees incurred by my child as a participant in the Eclipse Cheerleading Elite Programme by bank transfer into the nominated bank account;

• I agree to pay the monthly fees by the set due dates and acknowledge that refunds will not be given for classes missed.

• I understand that the Elite Programme is a commitment for a full season and if my child quits or is removed from the programme, I will not be entitled to a refund of any kind. This includes all monies paid to Eclipse Cheerleading, including prepaid expenses.

• Any overpayment refunds will be charged a $20.00 admin fee.

• I acknowledge that a $20.00 late fee will apply to all payments received after the due date and agree to discuss any issues with payments with staff to ensure clear communication;

• I acknowledge that there are additional costs associated with the Elite Programme including but not limited to: competition registration, transport to and from events, merchandise, accommodation whilst on tour etc., and agree to pay these by the deadlines.

• I understand that any outstanding fees will be pursued and athlete participation will be restricted until the balance has been settled.

• I understand that should debts be referred to a third party collection agency,  I will be responsible for any additional costs incurred.

• I understand that my child will not be permitted to attend showcases or competitions if I have not paid the appropriate funds by the set due date.

• I understand the above financial obligations and have read the terms and conditions.

• I agree to all the terms and conditions of the agreement, I understand that you do not require to have my signature as acceptance and that acceptance is deemed through my/my child’s participation.

• I also understand that if we wish to cancel the membership before the end of the contract period, we are liable for all money still owed until the end of the agreement.

• In the event of unpaid Fees I authorizes Eclipse Cheerleading to contact any debt collection agency. The balance shall be immediately due in full and a $75 administration fee will be added to the debt outstanding. any collection cost will also be that of the parent. The Member also authorizes Eclipse cheerleading and/or the debt collection agency to use any and all search powers available within the law to find up to date contact details for the Member to pursue the debt.

Safety and

medical release

• I understand that this is an athletic and physically demanding activity and whilst coaches endeavour to ensure the safety of all athletes, I release Eclipse Cheerleading and all its’ staff from any liability as a result of any injuries sustained or accidents that may take place as a result of my child’s participation in this sport.

• In the event of an incident, I authorise the staff at Eclipse Cheerleading to contact the above mentioned doctor and obtain the necessary medical treatment for my child. I understand that at no time will Eclipse Cheerleading assume financial obligation for any illness or injury that may occur.

• I understand that cheerleading is an athletic and physically demanding activity and whilst coaches endeavour to ensure the safety of all athletes, I release Eclipse Cheerleading and all its staff from any liability as a result of any injuries sustained or accidents that may take place as a result of my child’s participation in this sport.

• Should my child sustain an injury outside of practice I will inform Eclipse Cheerleading coaches to ensure the safety of my child and their teammates. I understand that due to the physical requirements for this sport a basic level of fitness is required. 

I acknowledge it is my responsibility to keep up to date with any changes to the Eclipse Cheerleading Terms and Conditions
